Overview:

SZE and TAN go to the outskirts to see the expectant woman. TAN has accidentally killed the woman when she is trying to grab the baby. In a desperate attempt to save TAN’s life, SZE promises to keep the secret. TSIN pretends that he has gone insane and that his life is a complete mess without LAI by his side. SZE points out to CHAI that LAI has turned against TSIN and chosen to serve his greatest foe, and that it is LAI’s guilty conscience and the malicious gossip that make him unhappy. CHAI is starting to believe that TSIN is clinically insane. LAI arrives at Chan to pick up his wife, during which he tries to enlist the support of various warlords.
